MIA JAGPAL
I've been telling stories with a camera in hand for as long as I can remember, first in network television at CHUM, MTV and CTV, then in documentaries, where I discovered my passion for producing and picked up a few awards along the way. Twenty years in, I still get the same rush turning a loose idea into something finished and real.
When I shifted into in-house production with Telus as a Senior Producer, I learned what it means to build campaigns inside a big brand and it changed how I worked.
In 2021, I started MJ Creative, where Telus remains a client to this day, alongside brands including Shopify, the National Film Board of Canada, London Drugs and E3 Lithium.
Alongside my own clients, I work as a trusted production partner to other agencies — bringing campaigns to life for brands like Arc'teryx, Browns Shoes, Marks, DoorDash, Oakley Meta, TaylorMade and Organika — to name a few.
On set or off, I'm the person who wants everyone to feel like they're in good hands. Budgets, logistics, contracts, permits, timelines: I tackle all of it with ease so the creative work can have the space it needs to develop and come to life.
Outside of work, you'll find me and my dog Walter around Vancouver, or up at our family home in Nelson.
